Two of my ferrets, Autumn and Boo are absolute terrors on their free
roam time. I have just built them a beautfiul play pen but they are
not content with that.

If I am not in there with them they scratch to get out and if I am in
there with them they are climbing up me to find a way over the wall.
Sigh. Sooooo, naturally I broke down :[ and decided to give them free
roam again. The broken record repeats " I told you to stay out of that
plant!", "No digging in the sofa." "Hey you! No! No!". Repeated
scruffing and blowing in fuzzy faces until their little cheeks blow in
the wind of my breath. I've pleaded to no avail. I've scolded until I'm
blue, yet they defiantly persist in terrorizing through the forbidden
zones of my abode. Then, yesterday quite by accident I solved my own
dilemma. It is also impossible to keep them off of my dining room table
and out of whatever is on it at the time. Yesterday there just happened
to be a bag of new toys on the forbidden table and they had a blast
discovering them, digging through the bag and running off with their
favorite toy which they played with for the next hour. Reverse psychology
rules!!!!!!!
