Ferret-friendly cities near Dallas

Greetings to the list!  I may be relocating to the Dallas/Coppell area in
the near future.  My understanding is that the cities around that area are
pretty hit and miss about where ferrets are and aren't permitted.
 
Could anyone help me with a list of ferret-friendly areas or in decyphering
the local ordinances?
