Since your ferret is only 10 weeks old this chewing on the feeding dish
has probably to do with the fact the little one is changing teeth..  some
ferrets are chewing on everything others on only a few things or one thing
(it depends on what is feeling the best).  They will grew over it, the only
thing is to help them to this period by not chewing on these things with
will be dangerous to their health (like eating towels/toys etc) and keeping
them bussy.
