I've been on the FML for close to two years now. I will say this is the
first time ever I have truly been SICKENED to my stomack by something I've
read here. So Lisa, Kat... that's "what it says about (your lack of)
support"! The lack of support makes me physically ill.
I understand that many are not aware of ADV. I understand that many are
uneducated on it. I was in that catagory... we all were at one point. I
even understand if one has no money to give to help an ADV ferret, or
research. What I don't understand is the lack of emotional support. I
don't understand the lack the community comming together on this. I don't
care if all you do is put a link on your page to an ADV page such as mine
or Judy's. I don't care if all you do is take the time and consideration
to write someone with a ferret with ADV. I don't care if at least you are
extra careful with ferret exposure and proper sanitizing techniques. At
least it's something. And if you've done anything... that's great. It's
a big step.. and a first step to more future steps. Most of all... the
babiest of steps is to at least not turn your backs on those that are
trying to do something.
