Thanks SO much to everyone that responded to my call for help regarding
the laxatone mess.  I really appreciate all the helpful tips and tricks.
 
Before I played with the mess too much, I got a hold of a carpet cleaning
company locally.  He wanted to check it out, so he came by today and
sprayed his magic spray, let it sit for a minute and sucked it up with his
steam cleaning machine.  It looks awesome!  He also did the rest of the
living room since it is such a light color and there were a few "accidents"
from the fuzzies!  Go figure!
 
If anyone in the Metro Detroit (Michigan) area needs a good carpet cleaning
company, please let me know.  I highly recommend him.  He not only did this
for me, but he works for the company I work for, so he is reputable.
