You will have noticed periodic cross-posts appearing here from the FHL
(the Ferret Health List).  Although a few of the answers given will appear
here from time to time, the only way to ask questions of some of these
experts is by joining the list.
 
If you decide to join do pay careful attention to the letters you receive;
one includes easy instruction for how to get the digest format rather than
individual posts.  Digest numbers seem to run from 1 to 4 day (according to
how Yahoo handles digests), so you can that for many folks individual posts
would become cumbersome.  You'll notice digest instructions popping up
elsewhere once you begin to notice them.
 
Having begun on February 17th this list is less than a month old and still
having wrinkles removed, yet, already it has a number of excellent vets and
other health professionals, and enjoys the wisdom of around 450 members, a
small number compared to the over 3,000 on the FML but still a decent size.

FOB, and FAIML, and on the AFA website though they did spell Mike's name
wrong -- it should be Janke.
