I don't remember who posted that they thought their angora has coccidia,
but I would like to put in my .02 cents.
#1 Pet store employees are NOT vets and should never be substituted for a
vet.
#2 Do NOT start your ferret on any medications unless it has been seen by
a vet and properly diagnosed.
#3 Take your ferret to the vet immediately or at least a stool sample for
a fecal float.
#4 Read #1
If you obtained this angora from Path Valley Farms, you probably paid a
considerable amount. I am hoping that you have the financial resources
to get this baby to a vet.
PLEASE PEOPLE, NEVER USE A MAILING LIST OR A PET STORE EMPLOYEE AS A
SUBSTITUTE FOR VETERINARY CARE.
Sorry if this is offensive to anyone, I just cannot stress this enough!
Take care~
