This is yet again a strange one. You are very lucky indeed to have a jill
who takes your hand and pulls it to her kits. I've never seen this, but
have read about it. It seems like she is telling you how clever she has
been, and that she trusts you to look at her babies. Some jills will kill
thier young when disturbed, even the quietest jills can act strangely when
with new kits.
The nesting area where she keeps the babies must be clean, and not too hot.
Perhaps she is trying to move them to somewhere cooler, or maybe there are
some leftover bits of food in the nest that have gone bad and smelly? Good
