Healthy/non-healthy treats

I took Zoey to the vet a couple of days ago.  He said that the only
treats he would recommend for ferrets (he's a fert doc) are laxatone and
ferretone.  He would not recommend any fruits, veggies, ferret treats from
the store (like those peanut butter ones), or anything else.  What do you
guys think?
