[log in to unmask], 24 Mar 2001 09:56:04 -0500467_- Doc called yesterday and left a message. The biopsy on Geez came back. It
is confirmed that he has a squamous cell carcinoma. It is growing upward
into the nasal passage. Just a matter of time. Does anyone know what will
happen towards the end? I would like to prepare myself and also be able to
recognize the signs. I guess I should consider myself pretty lucky that he
has been with us this long, but hearing that the cancer is confirmed..... [...]41_24Mar200109:56:

[log in to unmask], 24 Mar 2001 06:44:20 -0700504_- Last night I received a call from a fellow volunteer from our shelter, who
had a sad story to relate.
A ferret mom had phoned asking for help in locating her lost ferret. She
had good suspicions that the ferret had gone into the wall through a hole.
After straining to hear and not getting anything, the woman called the fire
department who came over and ran a device over the wall that detects heat.
After a couple of hours, there was no sign of the ferret. Her heart sank. [...]44_24Mar200106:44:

[log in to unmask], 24 Mar 2001 20:38:32 -0800529_- Hi! Just wanted to tell you our news.
For all of you who were thinking of us and for those of you who sent us
private e-mails, Tessa is better. We caved and decided to go with the
removal of her spleen. Watching her lose energy and plop down after a few
steps was very hard on us. Too sad to watch for much longer. We feel sure
she wouldn't of lasted too many more days. So now she is recovering from
surgery and eating duck soup and loving the attention I am sure. However,
all the masses I told [...]45_24Mar200120:38:

W- "Ohhh... Well thats ok, Sean. It'll be alright."
S- "I worried, mommy. I worried he's crying"
W- "Oh is he crying now?"
S- "No he was crying, I worried"

[log in to unmask], 24 Mar 2001 17:28:36 -0700621_- Although I should be slinging arrows instead of thanks at the city of
Aurora due to the harassment by the city zoning inspector and city attorney
who is now prosecuting me for having volunteers in the shelter, boarding
ferrets, and having Ferretland playground in backyard, I will thank them
instead. Because the much hated tyrannical gestapo govt of the city of<
