Hi Everyone,
Even though the epicenter of the earthquake was only about 7 miles from my
house, we escaped with no damage. Only things that fell, some computer
catalogs and a pillow.

Fuzzies all made it through fine. Dogs and cats had a bit of a problem,
but that is past.

As Olympia is the capitol of Washington, I am only about two miles from
the very damaged capitol building and state buildings where I used to work.
We lost a bridge, an historic hotel, and reports are still coming in. I
suppose by tomorrow, the newspeople will get their heads on straight and
we will get stories that are not conflicting.

Anyone in the area needing a temporary shelter for their fuzzies is welcome
to drop them by.
