Hi,

Long time since I have written you, but I have written some of you
individually. Just an update to let you know how Barret is doing. She
is great!! She is getting much plumper that it seems to be all in her
stomach.

She can't turn around in her tube as easily as she did when we first found
her. I guess this is good, as the vet said she is VERY healthy. She was
not even a lb. when we found her and her ribs were very very visable. She
is beautiful and such a delight. She wakes me up on the bed by licking my
face until I wake up to play with her.

The question is this: She plays about 1 hour in the morning before we go to
work then we put her up in her 4 story (big) Ferret cage. **She won't go
anywhere near the 3 & 4 levels ** Then when we are home about 6 she gets
up and we play another 1 hour or so. She takes her Totally ferret food
with warm water and then she is off to my drawer to sleep. I am wondering
if this is not enough active time for her.

I worry that she is sleeping too much. She is about 2 1/2 years old. I
also wonder if there are other toys I can buy or make for her beside a
bucket full of ferret toys and a huge long clear tube. Anyone knows if
her sleep habit is fine or if there is anything else I can use or do to
stimulate her? We are on the waiting list for a ferret here at all the
pounds and save a lifes, (Georgia) but if anyone knows where we can get
another ferret, email me.

All your help is so much appreciated!! Must run and go give Barret some
kisses.
