I've offered Cheweasels to many of our fuzzies, past and present, and none
of them have shown much interest in them. The closest thing approaching
interest was when Wassail got fed up with me offering it to him and took
the Cheweasel and stuck it in a corner as though to say "there, I took it,
can we move on now, Mom?"

HOWEVER, I discovered something much better, suggested to me by Mary Van
Dahm, director of F.A.I.R, and wanted to pass it on. They're called N-Bone
Ferret Chew Treats, they're digestable, just like the Cheweasels, but
they're chicken flavored. Templar is just bonkers for them. They're not
in star shape, but rather in stick. Templar is in absolute heaven when I
give him one. And the shape is perfect. I hold one end while he chews,
with the most contented ferret expression you can possibly imagine, on
the other.

You can also portion them out easier than those stars 'cause they're simple
to cut.

If your local ferret stuff supplier doesn't carry them, you can get them
from theferretstore.com.

Happy dooking,
Eugie
