Hello FML,
 
**Disclaimer...I do not work for this company, I just wanted to let
  people know of this product that works really good on pet stains.**
 
I just wanted to let you all know of a carpet cleaner that works wonders on
removing feces/urine stains that our little fuzzies leave behind when they
"miss" their little pan.
 
It's called 409 Carpet Cleaner and it's in a purple spray bottle that you
can find at any K-Mart or Wal-Mart.  I have tried absolutely everything and
this product by far has worked the best and it has a nice smell to it...not
overpowering.  On stains that have set in, it may take a few applications,
but I found that it works even on those.  You just spray it on the stain
and let it set for about 3 minutes and rub it clean with a paper towel!
(Geez, I sound like a commercial).  It seems like i'm always running behind
my little Chico with the spray bottle and paper towel...he is the only one
who frequently misses his litter pan!  ;-)
 
Of course, like any other household cleaner...take caution when using it
around pets!
