Hi to all, Well next week is a busy week here as I'll be at the vet
Conference pretty much all the time. I plan to meet with Judy Cooke one
of the days at the MGM where the conference is being held. Judy maybe we
can come up with a time so any FMLers here can join us for more input on
the symposium? This leads me to my next question, are there any Las Vegas
people that will help put this together if it happens? I can do onlty so
much with running the shelter and trying to find a job.

Also there is a big event here in Las Vegas on March 31st called Pet
APalooza, it was great last year and will be bigger this year. I can use
some help there at the event maning the booth, also if anyone has anythong
they would like to send for me to pass out at the event just send it to me
beforehand.

If you can't attend the event, maybe you can cook some goodies for our
bake sale? Or donate some items to sell or raffle off. Any help would
be greatly appriciated. Contact me for more details if interested.

Also my mother makes great afgans, I have asked her about making a ferret
one but she said she would need something to go by, anyone have a pattern?
i could make my mother do some for the shelter to help with the vet bills.
It will keep her out of the casinos, LOL.

Well things are about the same around here, we took in 5 ferrets from
California, 1 with adrenal. And 2 other private turn ins, both with
adrenal also. We are averaging a ferret a day in turn ins, 2 more arriving
today. We also took in some beautiful Guinea Pigs, they are up for
adoption as well. And if things couldn't get worse, my beautiful DEW
Pudgy, 7 yrs old and has been here since day one due to her resperatory
problems has a swollen vulva, AGGGGGG. For those who know her you know
how sweet she is, for those who don't she is the Queen of the Jungle around
here. she poses for you, kisses you and loves to make a specticle of
herself just for fun. surgery will not be an option, so I hope the Lupron
shots will help. she is to vain to lose her beautiful white coat!

Dooks,
CJ
