Tracy, I have it in good authority that Wolffy really does need those
Depends. She has taken to reading parts of the FML while sitting in a pan
of litter. This caused real problems recently when the organizers of a
baking fund-raiser showed up unexpectedly, especially when they saw a poof
horn waiting in a hovering red wagon during their rapid retreat, followed
by a glimpse of a bra-strung pantyhose-catapult being tested in the yard
with latex fish singing "Don't Worry; Be Happy". Yes, this war is going to
heat up given all the effective secret stealing going on if the athletic
competition of honor doesn't happen instead... Tip: when sitting in a
litter pot reading from your modem do NOT cheerfully call out, "Come in!"
when the doorbell rings. The good side is that she will not have to clean
her oven this week.

Approximate ferret teething schedule from James Fox's vet texts:

About day 50 (about 7 weeks): all canines, lower molar 1
About day 53 (about 7 and 1/2 weeks): upper molar 1
About day 60 (about 8 and 1/2 weeks) all upper premolars, lower premolar 2
About day 67 (about 9 and 1/2 weeks): lower premolar 3
About day 74 (about 10 and 1/2 weeks): lower premolar 4, and lower molar 2

It's quite normal for kits to be teething when they enter homes, but what
it can do is to give the age. Find out WHICH teeth are just starting to
erupt and you have the actual ages! That IS quite reliable for most
individuals (even if not for Nicholas Cage or my Uncle Frank :-) ). Size
is not reliable since that is largely dependent on access to food. Eyes
open about week 4, but have heard of a few opening a bit earlier and a bit
later.
