Hello,

I've recently been informed that someone using the email address
[log in to unmask] has been contacting people who have been holding auctions
to benefit our shelter, and other similar activities (donating supplies,
etc.) and telling them to not assist our shelter. Apparently I am not
worthy of help in this person's eyes.

I have no idea who the person is, or if they're subscribed to the FML, or
what. I just want it to stop.

I am very appreciative of all the help that we've gotten with the Christmas
rescues, and the help that we get year round from our supporters and
volunteers via auctions and actual physical help. I am still in the
process of writing out thank you notes to everyone. To have someone
question my honesty and integrity not only hurts my feelings, but more
importantly, it hurts the ferrets. They're why I am here, on this list,
and running a shelter. I will not stand by and allow that to happen.

If anyone has been contacted regarding our shelter and donations, I'd
appreciate it if you could forward any emails to me at

Feel free to block out your personal information if you want. If this
continues I will have no recourse but to pursue this matter legally.

On a happier note, 2 of the Christmas boys (Cookiepuss and Johnny Rotten)
went home today, and two more (Wayne Static and Simian) will be headed home
this weekend. They're so much improved since we first picked them up, its
incredible. They play, they chuckle and dance...basically they act like
ferrets! It's wonderful. Thank you to all the kind people who helped. I
could not have done this without you.

All of the Christmas ferrets tested negative for ADV, as well as a sampling
of my personal pet ferrets, and existing shelter ferrets. Bubbles was at
the vet again on Thursday, and had an ultrasound, which showed live kits,
so hopefully soon she'll give birth to a healthy litter. Saturday morning,
Lisa and I will be filling our cars with 37 ferrets and heading back to the
vets for a mass rabies vaccination visit.

I also just sent in my registration for the Warm Fuzzy show on February
3rd. I won't be having a table, but I will be there with 3 of my boys,
so if you're attending, please look for me and say hi.

Thanks everyone, if you have any questions about anything regarding my
shelter, please do not hesitate to ask me personally.
