My problem with this is that it is a domesticated animal. I would hope
that the deer, fish, etc., that are mounted have been eaten first. I don't
support killing animals for their fur or to mount them. But I don't see a
problem with someone mounting a deer head if they have killed the animal
for food and not for sport. A ferret is not a food item. It is a
domesticated animal and there lies the problem. I'm not trying to start a
debate on hunting, but a poster asked if those of us who are against the
taxidermy ferret are also against other animals being mounted. I don't
think there are any domesticated mounted dogs, cats, etc., being sold on
ebay. So, why should they allow a ferret?
