Dear Mary:
>Is it possible (even with cryo) to have a reoccurrence of adrenal symptoms
>which are caused by the ectopic tissue that is in the body?
Theoretically yes, but I don't think that I have ever seen it. There have
been some cases in which I have suspected it, but it is really a difficult
thing to prove. An expert at autopsy would first have to prove that there
was not left or right adrenal tissue, and then find a significant amount
of adrenocortical tissue - very tough to do.
I'm not saying it can't happen, though!
With kindest regards,
Bruce Williams, DVM
