Hi Michael-

until about 4 months ago our ferrets ate Eukanuba kitten food (mixed w/some
kind of ferret food- we tried different ones). They loved it, but after
reading up in, I think it was a recent issue of Ferret magazine, on
ferrets' nutritional requirements and some brand comparisons with opinions
given by breeders, shelter owners and vets, we decided to switch them to
Totally Ferret because it seemed more appropriate for them than the kitten
food.

BUT, I seem to remember that Eukanuba Kitten was up pretty high on that
comparison list in terms of the nutrition it provided for ferrets. My
guess is that it would be better than some other things you could feed them
b/c it's fairly high quality in general. They seem to love the TF too.
The one thing I can tell you is that our ferrets sometimes get finicky
when you try to switch food so you might want to try gradually mixing in
the new stuff in increasing amounts until you switch to the new stuff 100%.

good luck!

Jaime
