Ferrets are a social animal but some don't like the company of other
ferrets. How long were the meetings with these other ferrets? Your little
guy might need to make friends one at a time so he doesn't feel like the
odd man out. His whole enviroment changed with all these unfamilar smells
around him and then everyone wanting to play could be to much on him. I
think he could get along with a new kit but maybe if there is a shelter
near you, you could bring him there with the experts and they can let you
know if he can get along with other ferrets or maybe just certain ones
there. Hope this helps.
