The 2001 Ferret Frolic is at hand! This event, created to bring ferret
lovers (and their ferrets) together, is hosted by New England Ferret
Foster, Education, and Rescue, Inc (NEFFER). The Frolic will take place on
June 16, from 10-4 pm at the AmVets Post 74 in Three Rivers, Massachusetts.
Directions can be found on our website at www.neferrets.org.
The Ferret Frolic features vendors and shelters from across New England,
selling ferret toys and supplies as well as hard-to-find items for
ferret-loving humans! Ferret shelter owners will be on hand to discuss
the joys of adopting a shelter ferret.
For the ferrets, an afternoon of games and contests with ribbons for the
winners is planned. We'll be looking for contestants - bring your ferrets!
All ferrets must arrive in carriers and be on leashes, and have proof of
up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations. Ferrets younger than 16
weeks, and those who cannot be vaccinated, will not be admitted.
Entry fee for adults is $5 - children under 12 are FREE! The day will
feature food, fun, children's activities, raffles, auctions, and more!
