That might be true, but from all we know, that is not in anyway true of
Performance Foods.

Buddha does not respond here. If you are happy with a different food
please continue to use it. However, the most learned folks might have a
different on which foods are as good as others. We do not consider
ourselves to be amongst those most learned in ferret nutrition.

In internet tradition, we discount claims to amazing private email
vindicating another. It is consider one of the marks worthy of nomination
to KOTM in usenet as an aside.

Sukie did not try to suppress your right to speak your mind. Are you
trying to deny her and others the right to disagree with your opinions?

Siily tone? We do not believe we spoke in a silly tone.

Perhaps you need a refresher course in business. Manufacturers deal with
wholesalers because it is very expensive for them to have to deal with
each individual retailer. You are are a retailer, expect to deal with a
wholesaler, it is not in any way an insult to you to be considered a
retailer when you indeed operate at small levels. For Performance foods
to deal with your store then you they have to expend resources that they
could expend else where. That is simple economics. We have dealt with
Performance foods as well, we always went through a local distributor.
Performance Foods called in a favor to get the wholesaler to deal with
someone as small as us. That seems to us that they do indeed try to help
shelters to the best of their abilities.
Perhaps you should have tried to be the distributor for your area if you do
not approve of the company that was able to meet the needs of PFI. If you
could have increased your order size then you could have remained as a
company dealing direct with PFI.
We do consider both Tom and Trish our personal friends, but we do not
expect them to harm their business to help us in any way. There
explanation of there side of things seems very logical. Without any
accusations.
