I just had a GREAT idea!!!
there are many, many talented people on this FML...be it painting,
crocheting, woodworking, knitting, stained glass, and so much more...
you all have supplies handy...at least most creative people have stuff
around... how about each one of you [who is able] make one of whatever it
is that you make and donate it to be raffled off for the advancement of
ADV Research? It does not have to be a huge item...just whatever it is
that you create..
I have permission from Julie Fossa to post her contact info so you can
contact her for the info to get the items to her [so she can take them to
the shows she goes to and "Raffle them off"...]
I had my mommy crochet an afghan especially for this purpose..it was
gorgeous..and it had a ferret on it in "puffs' and the words..."Love your
ferret today...Like there is no tomorrow"...it brought in $120.00...
that is nothing to sneeze at!!!...
maybe you yourself have been wondering "what can i do to help?" i plan
on making some afghans myself to donate...
what can YOU do?
what WILL you do?
and what will YOU get out of it?...
Just the good feeling of doing something to help...as for me...that is all
i want...
