It was last June, I adopted out a trio of shelter kids to a family. They
don't have internet. I had heard from them in August and all was going
well.

I got a call this evening. The mom started telling me Jaba and Cayenne
were doing well and they had moved into their humans had moved into their
new home. I asked what happened to Smudge.

This is the story. The husband got short notice to change locations and
move. The trio were housed in a cage with lots of tubing. Some how in
the process of moving Smudge "dropped out" or "got loose". He was quickly
found. He was eating and drinking normally apparently. But then when
after the moving dust was settled, Smudge had lost his muscle tone. Mom
didn't know loss of back arch was due to weakened muscle. She called the
vet. Vet said to keep an eye on him and make sure he eats and drinks.
The next day, she found he had crossed the bridge.

Sandee find Smudge. There was no one there when he crossed, no one to hold
him when he left. Make sure he is able to walk okay. See if you can help
him find my other 7 that left me last summer.

Sorry, I have to close, *tears*
