There were many good responses to my question about bottle brush tails as a
ferret passes.  They all made good sense and helped alleviate my concerns.
However my favorite was from Julie
 
"I like to think that the little one has just spotted the rainbow bridge,
and is excited to check out what lies ahead."
 
Thanks Julie, this is the one I'm going to keep in mind, should the
unfortunate event happen again.
