Survival on soft food

Hi, my 8 year old blind ferret Dusty, has been only eating duck soup for 2
years now.  I keep dry food in her cage but she only spills it all over!
she is doing great on it and has had no problems from it.
 
The only thing we had to do was a dental a month ago because her teeth were
bad.
