I apologize for the late posting. I would have liked to give people more
warning than this but posting slipped my mind.

Northern Ohio Ferret Association Meeting Tuesday January 9th (7-9pm)

This month Featuring: An important discussion on AD (Aleutian's Disease)
by Shelter Mom Julie Fossa of the West Central Ohio Ferret Shelter. AD
has been called the 'next' plague to hit the ferret community. At this
time, there is no cure. Julie, unfortunately, has first-hand experience
with AD and is very knowledgeable about the disease and of the ongoing
research in the field.

NOFA will also be arranging ADV testing in the Cleveland area for sometime
in February.

Also, Jean Caputo-Lee from Ferrets Unlimited will be bringing two 7 week
old kits she has up for adoption. (Christmas turn-ins have started
already!) Come see the cuties!

Bring your ferret with you to the Broadview Heights Rec. Center, 9543
Broadview Rd. (just south of Rt. 82) Directions are available on our
website: http://www.ohioferret.org/events/BrvwHt_MeetingDir.asp

* There is always the possibility of exposure to infectious diseases for
your pet when brought out into social gatherings. To minimize this
exposure, it is recommended that you restrict handling of your pet and
exposure to other pets at the event.
