I've been with the fml for 18 months. Can anyone ever point out ONE time
EVER that I spoke up in a debate whether it was civil or nasty? Have I
ever even said what I feed my ferts.... if I like Marshall Farms or not,,,,
defended a friend on here? EVER? nope. It's not me.

I am bitter at those that make me feel forced to do whats right and come
forward for this matter. My stomack turns at what has happened, and at me
having to come forward. The fml is for information and sharing. Not for
lies, or petty immature arguments. Please lets end the lies here and now.
This is my testament.

I have visited Kista's Ferret shelter (and with only 30 min warning at the
time) in NJ. I live in TN. So this was quite an event. I found a young,
bright, warm woman living without what many of us take for granted. I
found a shelter of ferrets fat, warm, happy, watered, emacualtely clean
with toys, hammys, and better food than what I give my very own. I found
only a few house pet ferret of her own (how many of us have 12, 15, 25????
and are not questioned... PLUS may have shelters and/or breed). I found
her working at her computer, and doing paperwork for the shelter. She was
very well disciplined with discerning "shelter" from "home" in every way
that she lived.

I was allowed total access to any cage, any inch of the shelter. I was
allowed to view all of them openly. I was welcomed into her home also.
I was humbled to see someone take to a higher calling.. and live as she
does... 100% for the ferrets. I was inspired by her being so
indidualistic, and cheery. She showed my Randy... one of the xmas tree
ferrets that got a secret santa. I had to hold in crying at the sight of
a ferret that had been through so much. There was kim, holding him like
he was normal.... kissing him, smiling ear to ear saying, "isn't he so
beautiful??!" Randy practically fell out of his cage squirming to get to
her he was so happy (he is paralized somewhat and very old). I saw her
cuddle Stinky Stanly... who at that time (he had just been rescued) smelled
like nothing I had ever smelled before.... it was awful, and she didn't
care.

For her own pets she has Fetie... a champion bloodline fert... and she has
Mango another one..but handicapped....and do you know whom her soulmate
is??????? This wirey, ooold blind ferret named Mr Ito. She thinks he is
the most gorgious thing to walk the face of the earth. She thinks he is
the smartest coolest soul she has encountered. What I"m trying to say is
she loves unconditionally. She is also proud of all the shelter babies...
knows them each and every one, and loves them. She is very intelligent,
and I call upon her for advice often.

I could never give up.... what she has given up, or do what she does if a
gun was held onto me ok? That's my confession here. I have seen other
shelters... I know most people are poor from doing this, have no help,
and do it from their home. I am not beliddling what so many do. Just
reporting what I HAVE SEEN IN PERSON in this specific situation. More over
I have all sorts of family that can check up on the ferts situation ok?
Would I have adopted Toady from her ..... across the country.......
supported her financially in the past...... when there is Mark in Al, cloud
nine ferts, and Julianna in ga if I didn't feel 100% behind what kim does??
I would love to support Mark and Julianna...but I have not had the
opportunity to meet them nor visit their shelters. But i have Kims. And
in adopting Toady.....it was my way of helping the xmas ferts...helping
Anne, and Kim.

Can we please keep this out of the fml? Unless you have proof (via the
animal control people etc) on a shelter, pictures, etc or something can we
not do this? Is it not enough we have such greatness as Dr Williams to
help us learn on here? Is it not enough that we have such inspirational
people as Judy Gronwold, or the creativeness as Georgia Wood? Do we not
have enough causes, and enough pain in our lives without adding the
evilness of lies?
