They don't get along at all!!  Ferrets are predators and will regard
chinchillas as tasty rodents!
 
Even if you keep the chinchilla in a cage protected from the ferrets it's
not a good idea.  In my experience, chinchillas will generally not be
comfortable if they sense a predator is nearby.
