A TIDY HOUSE

There are no messes anymore;
no misplaced poopies on the floor,

no litter that I need to sweep,
no "shower tracks" of little feet,

no medicines to measure now,
and no more need to worry how..

the basket in the bathroom stands
untipped by little fuzzy hands,

there's no one here to knock it down;
no little furry, fuzzy clown.

The house is tidy once again,
without my little messy friend,

I miss the messes that he made,
and wish so much he could have stayed..

Our house is tidy; wood and stone,
but now this house is half a home.

    (in memory of little Fang)
