Hello all! I have four ferrets that need new loving homes asap!! If they
cannot find homes, then I need to find a shelter to put them in as I am now
working 2 jobs and don't have the time to care for them as they need.

The first pair came to me from a friend in Florida. Kodo is a male MF
black sable mitt blaze. He can be a real sweetie but does nip on rare
occasions. He is 1.5 years old and slightly underweight (1.7 lbs)....
something I've been trying to fix. Podo is his cagemate and is supposively
3.5 years old. He is probably the sweetest ferret I have ever met but he
does have some health problems. He is severly underweight (1.4 lbs) and
losing hair. My veterinarian thinks that he has an adrenal tumor but we
can't perform surgery until he gains more weight. Other than that he is
healthy and eating like a horse!

Next is Katodon, a male MF sable mitt blaze. I am unsure of his age but
I would guess 3 years. This little boy is also underweight due to his
previous situation and is currently up to 1.75 lbs. He only eats Iams
kitten food....his previous owner almost starved him to death because he
refused to eat ferret food! He is a real sweetie and loves other ferrets
and humans. He has never bitten anyone and would make a great addition
to any ferret family!

Last is Opal......I've been trying to find a home for this little girl now
for months. Opal is a beautiful petite little albino MF female, probably
a little over 2 years old. She is very healthy and I have never had any
problems with her health. She eats either ferret food or Iams kitten food
and loves treats! She is up to date on shots and will need her boosters in
a few months. The problem with Opal is that she is a severe biter. She
does very well with other ferrets after being properly introduced. I have
been working with her for almost a year now with little success. There
was a period of a few months where she never tried to bite me and then she
suddenly went back to her old self. I just don't have the time to work
with this little girl.

All of these ferrets need a home with someone who can play/work with them
every day. The first three need lots of loving to get them healthy again.
Opal needs loving so that she can get over her fear of people. I do have
two super pet cages and some supplies that can go with these ferrets. Opal
and Katodon can go together or separately, although I prefer that they stay
together. I will help pay for Podo's adrenal surgery when and if he is
able to go through with it. I can also email pictures of these ferrets and
the cages to anyone who is interested. I live in Blacksburg, VA and would
be willing to drive no more than 4 hours to deliver these ferrets to a new
and approved home. If there are any shelters that would be willing to help
me out, please email me and let me know!! I don't feel like I'm helping
these fuzzies in any way by keeping them in my care. Please email me
anytime or call me Mon-Thur after 6pm. Thank you in advance!!!
