Someone at Home Depot (Natick Mass) said they haven't been able to get
Stove Chow for about a month, too much demand (people are probably using
the stuff for STOVES!!) and they don't know if or when they'll have more
 
Borders has calendars 50% off; still a few ferret calendars at Framingham

Hmmm - maybe fish and wildlife does have a point - that's a terrifying
hunting technique!
 
There is a dog called a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who is supposed
to perform strange antics on shore to catch a duck's attention for the
(human) hunter; I think this opens up all sorts of possibilities for
ferrets' eccentric behavior...
