Dr Wardell at Austin always washes her hands before handling each animal -
even animals within the same household.  She cleans the exam table between
animals too.  She is a wonderful vet and takes care of my ferret, two cats
and dog.  She is willing to answer any questions and keeps up with current
vet techniques.
