Everyone survived the activated charcoal, and the litter box contributions
were only slightly darker than normal.  I consider it safe to assume that
if any ferret ingests something that might require activated charcoal, that
putting the capsul contents into something they will eat is much easier
than trying to force the pill into them.
 
Do use a glass dish, however.  I'm sure the charcoal would stain any
plastic ferret dish.
 
For those who might like to add this item to their supplies, (it can be
useful for people and other pets too) Activated Charcoal can be found at
health food or herbal stores, and in many other stores which carry a
herbal line of products.
