Hi guys, I'm fairly new to the FML, and I have been wondering what this
ferret SOUP is?  Sometimes I see that it is called duck soup...could
someone please give me a recipe?
 
I have recently started my kids on the BARF [Bones And Raw Food.  BIG]
diet...(thanks Ulrike for the info)  They are doing good.  The baby (3month
old Mary Jane) took to it right away...the others, Buddy, Blaze, and Baby
Jake (all around 1year old) had to be fed for a couple of days....I just
put some on my finger and they eat it right up...I only did this because I
wanted to make sure they were all eating.  I've been peeking in at them,
and have caught them all eating on their own now, so I guess it's a go.
(tip: I added a some Ferretone to the chicken to maybe give them some
incentive to start eating it).
 
While I'm here, just my 2 cents: To all of you who are bickering back and
forth on the FML...you know who you are, so I won't name names....isn't
that kind of childish?  (maybe cuz I'm new to the FML, I shouldn't say
anything, BUT....) I read this newsletter bacause I love my ferrets and
they make me HAPPY *smile*.  I love reading other people's insights, vet
tips, and cute stories.  And even for the people with unfortunate stories
of the precious fuzzies who have crossed the rainbow bridge...I know the
FML can help you cope.  What I don't get though is all the fighting...I
don't know, maybe some of you like conflict...but I feel, if you need
conflict, why not watch Jerry Springer?  I don't know about anyone else,
but I tend to just skip over all that negative stuff...Think of your
fuzzies..what would they say if they knew all this hooman bashing was
going on?
 
Sorry if I have offended anyone, that's just my take on these situations.
