Hi all. I'm coming out of "lurking" to post a cute story.
Trinity was running around the house like nuts. (My cats used to do this
around 10:00 every night. I called it The Night Crazies.) I just sat on
the couch and watched her tear across the room, turn on a dime and tear
back across in front of me. I thought "Wonder what she'd do if I grabbed
her up?" So as she flashed by me I bent down and scooped her up. She was
stunned for a split second....THEN CHOMPED DOWN ON MY FINGER! I screamed
and in my shock/terror, dropped her on the couch. She jumped off the
couch and went flying under the china cabinet (where she hides just about
everything she can drag and shove under it). I wasn't bleeding but it
just really shocked me. She's NEVER bitten me before. She's never bitten
ANYONE before. So she kept on with her "crazies" and then stopped all the
sudden, noticing that I had tucked my legs up under me to get them out of
her way...since she was in such a fighty mood I didn't want my toes to
become the next victim. She then slowly walked over to her cage, dragged
out her Kermit the Frog and brought it over to the couch, dropping it next
to me on the floor and then speed bumped. It was the most touching apology
I've ever gotten from both man or beast. So I picked up Kermit, dangled
him in front of her and played a little tug of war. I let her win, she
took him back to her cage and continued with about another 5 minutes of
"crazies" before she tired out.
Sorry this was long...but I thought it was cute.

Trinity - Hey, don't mess with a ferret and their Night Crazies.
Neo - *yawn* Do a lap for me, will you?
