Hello FML from the Seattle area!
 
This is for Lisa Whittleton who posted in Tuesday's FML about her little
girl Cinnamon pooping on the second floor of the cage... I wish I could
take credit for coming up with the following idea, but I read it somewhere
in the FML (don't remember when) so if it was your idea, consider this a
quote and a big thank you...
 
Our little girl Sasha was also pooping on the second floor shelf.  She
seemed to start this behavior out of nowhere about a month after we
adopted her from the shelter (Best Little Rabbit, Rodent, and Ferret House
in Seattle, WA - Hi Sandi!) At about eight months and being already potty
trained, this seemed strange.  I read that tying a scarf or bandana of
sorts (we used a black bandana) in the corner(s) of said shelf would
discourage pooping there.  Skeptical, we tried it for lack of a better
idea, and it worked instantly and to this day!
 
The probable mechanism at work here is most likely eradicating any obvious
corners, which of course are ferrets pooping place of choice.  Just one
more reason why I read my FML faithfully, to learn from others!
 
Our ferret Blitz has taken up Panty Raiding as a sport.  He is obsessed
with a certain article of my undergarment collection .... Check out the
