Hi , ok here goes, I am a new ferret owner, up untill resatly ferrets were
not legal in South Carolina so I have no friends with experience ,, I have
read allot and was lucky to find a vet who does know a great deal about
ferrets,

so My Problem, I have two ferrets, dixxie,my first, she is quite dominate,
and nippy, she is approx. 11-12 weeks old, .. my second ferret, who I
bought from a different store, is Austin, he is approx. 7-8 weeks old, and
I couldn't ask for a nicer ferret, he is playfull, but easy to love on and
play with, he is just the oppisete of dixxie, she is adorable, and i love
her just the same, although her dominating behavior has made it impossible
for me to put the two togeather,

My questions are, do any of you have any idea how i might go about calming
dixxie down, or helping her to except Austin,

and my second question is,,, they are both Marshall Farm Ferrets, so they
came with there temporary dis-temperment shots , they are both due for
there next set, there nine week shots,,,

what i'd like to know is,, will this shot help her temperment,, or is that
something I am going to have to just keep on working extra hard on, or
maybe is her behavior just because of her young age?

I despeartly want to do whats best for both my new little ones, and have
fallin in love with both of them for there distictive attitudes .. lol. ,
but i need to know how to train my ferrets best.. Any help at all will be
greatly appreciated ...

Thank you all in advance....
Jennifer,
