Ditto to the post yesterday of Kista/Kim Rushing.

I have been there and have two adoptees that my wife and I are so fond of.
Kista is a no kill shelter and had very elderly ferrets that their time was
near, their attitude was not cowering when a cover blanket was lifted up
for one, and for another to come out to get a piece of kibble to take back
even though we were at eye level gwaking at the time of occurance. Kim has
tatoos and I don't know for sure but I think that she might have had on a
long sleve shirt at the time to not make us feel uncomfortable. Kim for
her own self had a friend over Lisa? and it seemed to be quite approperate
and reasonable for a responsible person. Kim lives in a very undermodest
dwelling to live within her means this enables her to do two things. #1 is
the ferrets. #2 as I see is for a carefree life to take the day off and
not the job controling you. To analize people further her writing on the
internet may be 'loud' for some people under the mom colum on the web page,
but if a person is dissing Kim lets see them run a shelter. I feel sorry
for other shelters with their vet bills that are outstanding and I think
one FML post said total of all shelters in US (possibly Canada) was $65,000
outstanding. Kista I hooked up with (the luck of the draw) and support as
funds allow a few others I have helped on special ocasions. Perhaps Kista
web page layout and fund raising Ebay auctions and auction items float the
shelter out of debt. I hope that other shelters will get local support
rallied behind them similar.

My wifes side of the family has had a family tradjedy and I'm writing at 4
to 5 am in the morning with no sleep so this may and seems to be too full
of trying to say stuff.

I admire people that can run a true non profit shelter. Kim has a pregnant
female let her have the joy of this moment. As far as I know the only true
kit of Kim's own in fetus. As for the other ferrets/males I'm sure that
out of the 100 there was some pretty nice ones that some people eyeballed
and got. I sure would have liked to had the picks of the litter. And as
was mentioned if Kim was going to breed she would have not had Fetus fixed
with his parents qualities etc.
