Subject:
ECE or just funky poops?

Sorry to post just another poop question, but I'm really worried about
Storm's slimy kind of greenish poops. When we adopted her about 2 months
ago she had really odd looking and smelling poops, we figured it was
because her previous owners had given her cat food. We switched her over
to 8 in 1 and things got a lot better. Once in a while Storm still had
some weird poops, but mostly they were normal.

Now all of a sudden the problem is back: slimy, seedy, smelly. Stormy acts
normal, eats, drinks, doesn't loose any weight. She is about 5 month old
now and weighs around 2.5 pounds.

I' ve checked the archives and most of the posts point to ECE. What
exactly is that and what is the proper treatment? I'll take Stormy to
the vet on Monday and like to get as much information as possible.

Thanks a lot,
Barb and Storm (come on, Mom don't talk about that... tell them how I
stole your wallet)
