OK....my family thinks I have gone off the deep end. Yesterday afternoon,
while watching Emergency Vets on the Animal Planet channel, there was a
little ferret that had a reaction to his distemper shot. Well, I had been
telling hubbie just a few days before about the same thing so when this
show came on, I proceeded to wake up hubbie (he just got a job working
nights) to share the story of the ferret on t.v. Poor hubbie had only been
asleep about 2 hours when I woke him up. He was not pleased to say the
least. Shortly there after, my daughter came home with her fiance and I
proceeded to tell them about the show. Apparently, I was talking too much
about ferrets in general (huh?..lol) and my disgruntled hubbie, daughter
and future son in law all accused me of being addicted to my ferrets. They
say that I talk about ferrets all the time. I disagree with them. I also
talk about my cats alot too. They say I totally spoil all my babies and
jump when one of them says "Dook" or "Meow". Hubbie says that he wants
to be one of the ferrets or the cats because they get so much attention.
I even occasionally talk about human things too but not often. Is it
possible that I am addicted to my pets? I can put them down anytime I
chose..honest I can. Hubbie wants to know if there is a 12 step program
for me to enroll in. How can one be addicted to their animals?..lol. I
have more to say but one of my cats needs to have it's belly rubbed so I
must stop writing this post to attend to her need. See....I'm not
addicted..I can quit any time I want.

Happy New Year Everyone!!
Prayers for all the sick fuzzies and prayers for all that have lost a
fuzzie.

Dooks!!!!

(who is not addicted to Nipper & Chomper....honest)
