My regular vet wants to refer me to the Small Animal Facility at MICHIGAN
STATE UNIVERSITY (Lansing, MI) for my ferret's adrenal surgery.  Does
anyone know if they have a ferret specialist there?  If yes, what is the
doctor's name??
 
My ferret is having great difficulty urinating, so my vet recommends the
surgery SOON, this week if possible.
 
I had mentioned Dr. Bradley Fear and Dr Gretchen Steininger as recommended
by other FML list members, but he has not worked with these vets, so he
would NOT refer us to them.
 
I want the BEST possible care for my boy.  Please let me know if there is
a ferret doctor at MI Sate I can trust the adrenal surgery to.
