But...i have a question about the "a sedative before euthanasia" thing...
 
WHAT is the purpose of the sedative?
     [to make it so the euthanasia shot does not hurt??]
How is it administered?
     [a shot??]
 
what is the difference?...a shot or a shot?
 
i am serious here..not being flippant...this is serious business to me...
i have had to put 2 of mine to sleep now...neither of which had a sedative
before their shot...
 
OldGuy was basically barely conscious anyway...his shot was to his heart...
he never knew... GOD this is hard!!!  Charlie's was in his vein... he went
peacefully licking his Nutri-Cal...he never had a sedative either...
 
i have never heard of a sedative prior to the euthanasia shot...i do not
understand the purpose of it...
