Kim asked a couple of days ago if there was anyone that could transport
three fuzzies. It just reminded me about Ferrets Across America. I
learned about it at the same time I learned about the FML. For anyone
who doesn't know about it, it's exactly what the name implies. It's a
volunteer transport system for ferrets. Unfortunately, the group is on
hold since there is no coordinator at this time. I think this would be
a wonderful thing to start up again. I've signed up to be a driver but
because of my work hours (54-60/week), coordinator isn't possible. But I'd
be very willing to help out anyone who can take on the responsibility.

Anyway... Question. Squeak toys sound like kits, right? Tink will wake up
from a sound sleep when she hears a squeak, come at a dead run (even chase
you around the room), then drag off the "kit" to one of her hidey holes. I
keep buying bigger and bigger "kits" just to watch her drag it off (up the
stairs, down the hall, ...). Is she rescuing it or is she just getting
it to be quiet? We get the biggest kick out of watching her. She never
sleeps with them though, she just tucks them away.

She's doing wonderfully, BTW. A little different, but I think it's because
she's not an only fuzzbutt anymore. The ibuprofin scare is obviously still
with me since I dreamed last night that she drank motor oil : ) (Or maybe
it was the salt and vinegar potato chips I ate) Willow is our newest
little Houdini. She has taken the title from Tink. She and Franky have
been here about six weeks and she's already lost ten collars. And Franky
has figured out how to get open the basement door. There's a room that
still has a dirt floor. Needless to say he's getting a lot of baths.

Hug those fuzzies, they're so very special.
Darlene
