LOL....I was about to announce to the FML about our recent addition to the
family when I read Jen's post about Toady! Poor Jen truly had her heart in
the most golden of places when she took the time to write such a beautiful
post about Toady so he could get a deserving home. I thought it was
brilliant. I thought it was very loving and thoughtful. The ferrets up
there are so lucky to have such a great advocate behind them.

I hate to break anyones heart out there...but on New Years Eve, we adopted
Toady. Jen did not know. We live all the way in TN, though, and it is
cold for Delta Dash or anything. So we all are antsy waiting for him.
Also we are moving soon to a house so that Toady will have more room. It
will be good timing that we get out of here and in a larger home, and then
get our Toady down here. We love him so much already and miss him.

It may work out more economical and safer for one of us to actually fly up
there to NJ, and get Toady, then fly down with him. I have no idea at this
point. After we get our home (we are to start looking this week), we can
work on that obstacle. But nothing could keep our family from Toady at
this point. :)

Everyone, be happy for Toady because my two sons are VERY ferret
knowledgeable and have so much love to give, all our ferrets with us are
very gentle, this is a great home for him. My husband wanted a ferret
for xmas. I said no. He then has been helping Kim some, and had asked
about the rescues with adoption on christmas eve (at that point things
were chaotic, ferts needed medical attention, etc). It was on New Years
eve that Kim matched us up with Toady.

Thank you Kim....
