I would also encourage you to contact the BBB of NV, state regulatory
agencies, the tourism boards, the city council, and anybody else you can
think of. I'm also going to offer some words of wisdom here- I hope I
don't sound condecending, its just that I have done things like this alot,
and have learned some lessons, so I'm sorry up front for anyone who may be
offended. Use snail mail to write these people- it is harder to ignore.
Keep copies of everything. If you can afford it, mail everyone a letter
everyday. That can cost a book of stamps, but those poor animals are dying
in that store. Think about how you would want your own animals defended.

When you write- be nice. If we get nasty, people will write us off. Act
like you know that the people you are writing to couldn't possibly have
known about the abuse, as YOU know that they would never have let this
continue had they known. Be firm in your demand that THIS WILL STOP. Not
nasty-firm. Ask if you can help in any way, and offer to educate the pet
store owners, if they will allow it-be nice. If there are those of you who
are going to demonstrate- not only find out the laws re. this, but keep a
copy with you. Contact the media, generally speaking, they have more pull
than the adverage citizen.

I have plenty of other ideas- if anyone is interested in organizing
something, let me know. Oh- also request a reply, in writing of any
action taken.

Good Luck.
Gerri
