Greetings and Dooks to all...
I just wanted to share a story about how my fuzzies love their mommy very
much.

I've got a condition called GERD (reflux) and yesterday I had what is
called a pH probe placed: a tube put through my nose and into my stomach,
to measure just how much acid I'm refluxing. Needless to say, I don't
look the greatest...in fact I look downright scary (my kids, the human
ones, thought I looked like a Borg). But, in an effort to keep things
as "normal" as possible in the house...we let the ferts out for their
afternoon/evening play time...as per usual, I take each fert and give them
a few minutes of personal hugging, petting and love. Well, my babies did
not approve of my new appearance. My two younger ones (Ginger and Pepper)
tried to very carefully remove the tape from my face, and pull the tube out
of my nose. It was very cute...they were being so gentle and careful not
to get my skin. My three older ferts (JoJo, Corey and Eduardo) recognized
that mommy wasn't happy, and put their heads on my shoulder to give momma
some hugs to make her feel better. I get this thing removed today, so I
know my ferts are going to be very happy that their mommy doesn't look
strange any more.

Just goes to show how much love a ferret can have for their humans!
