what about sending a little something to a different one each month..or
whenever the extra funds are available...???
 
also...a "gift certificate" from say 'The Ferret Store' will go a lot
farther than actual merchandise you buy......shelters get a discount
there... [probably at other places too..but i only know about 'The Ferret
Store'...][that way a 'small' donation will go a lot farther...]...then,
also, they can order exactly what they need...and they can also combine
gift certificates to add up to more...

p.s...this would work for anyone with a few extra $$ every month...think
about it...it does not have to be $20.00..$30.00...$50.00...any amount
will help...just do it as often as you can...it will add up...:)
