I didn't know that!  Ferrets will not be affected by salmonella in raw
chickens?  I had no idea!  As the saying goes 'This Changes Everything'!
I'd have to look for a butcher to grind it for me though, because I'm not
about to repeat THAT experience again!  My only question about feeding
chickens from the store to ferrets is that they are come in the
de-feathered version only.  Aren't the feathers an essential part of the
package?
 
Wayne asks if we (Americans) only keep ferrets as pets?  Only
because there aren't enough 'entertainments industry' jobs to go
around!  Would the ferret have the equivelent of a SAG card, only
for concert workers?  Oh, oh, oh, Kouri wants one of those!
